Classic Gardening Magazine

Gardening as it ought to be

About us

This is  the Beta version of Classic Gardening Magazine, and your feedback is very welcome. The site grew from the Classic Gardening blog, and is edited by Andy Bull. The plan is to launch the Alpha version in the spring.

What Classic Gardening is all about
Classic Gardening Magazine was created because we don't think much of the current crop of gardening magazines.
Here is our pitch for establishing something different:

"Garden designers, garden centres, DIY stores...between them they are ruining gardens, and gardening. This community site is about going back to a more traditional form of gardening. It's about having a garden that grows pretty much to its own design, and about growing things to eat."

Our goal is to make Classic Gardening a real home from home or, even better, a garden from garden, for those who love to tend their plot but don't find a place to chat with other like-minded gardeners.

There will be room to get to know each other, offer and receive tips and advice, express opinions, share wisdom and generally enthuse about our great hobby.
